How has the power of choice made you powerful or powerless?
We all have baggage. They were given to us in our childhoods by parents, friends, and associates. Later on in life, our spouses and employers give us some more baggage.
Although baggage can be associated with good and bad things that happened to us, the word is mostly used to describe the effects of negative experiences and traumatic events throughout the different stages of life.
Low self-esteem, guilt, fear, pessimism, anger, and the desire to please others are some examples of baggage. We walk around heavily burdened because every choice and decision we make are filtered through our baggage.
The ongoing effect is that of insecurity in everything we do.
Therefore, we continuously behave in unproductive manners and sabotage the plan designed to move us forward.
If we are to have positive changes in our future, we must dump all unnecessary baggage because they will only serve as hurdles in our paths.
Before you let a single word come out of your mouth, you better be real careful; you may not know what you’re getting yourself into.
You see, words are seeds. Words are powerful. They have the tendency to multiply and reproduce according to their likeness.
You have the choice to plant them in grounds that will…
You understand that your tongue, the instrument that facilitate the speaking of words has the power of life and death.
If you’ve ever wanted to be a superhero, this is the ultimate opportunity. It is also the ultimate opportunity to become the greatest villain.
Read this carefully. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” In other words, you reap what you sow.
If you sow words of love, you will get love in return.
If you sow words of hatred, you will harvest hate.
If you inspire, you too will be inspired.
If you belittle and humiliate, what do you think you will get back?
So, what’s in it for you?
The quality of your life. What do you want to get more of?
